Pressure Sensitive Labelling involves taking rolls of pre-printed images with adhesive glue on the backing and using pressure to apply the labels to the individual containers.  Generally, this is done at high speeds to make it cost effective for high volumes, but the main benefit is being able to use many colours in the labels in one pass.
